Latest Quarterly Report
2008 will go down in economic history as an exceptionally volatile year in which heavy losses were unfortunately made. Equity markets finally managed to halt their downward slide in December, and some even finished the year in positive territory. No one knows when the market will start to rally again. We think that when confidence is eventually restored in financial markets, this will provide an additional boost to the theme of sustainability. Here the four key SPG investment clusters - Energy, Water, Healthy Living and Resource efficiency will be particularly important going forward.

Performance Group (SPG) 3rd Quarterly Report 2008
Rarely have the equity markets experienced such dramatic turmoil as in the past weeks. Whether or not the various measures being
taken by the international community are sufficient to calm the financial markets remains to be seen. It is all the more important
to bear in mind that, despite the current financial crisis and slowdown in economic growth, global challenges such as water shortages,
the fight against climate change through the production of renewable energy or energy efficient technologies, as well as the growing need
for resource-efficient and innovative materials will not lose their significance.
In the third quarter of 2008, SPG was unable to escape the downtrend that has ensued as a result of the widespread uncertainty in
the capital markets, and especially the equity markets. Investors' increased aversion to risk has led to large price declines most
notably in cyclical shares, small-cap companies and emerging-market stocks. Today, however, the possible true value of SPG's portfolio
(a PEG ratio of 0.5; i.e. the P/E divided by the average anticipated growth rate) continues to offer tremendous potential for the future.
Even in these volatile times, SPG has encountered hardly any cash outflows and trades at an above-average premium. SPG is
convinced that with its four investment themes - renewable energy, water, healthy living and resource efficiency - the portfolio
is excellently positioned to benefit from the next upturn and that, once confidence in the financial markets revives, it will
participate in the growth of companies focused on sustainability issues.

Despite adverse market conditions, SPG's share price improved by 17.7% during 2007, an outperformance of well over 10% compared with the benchmark MSCI World ex Financials. Although stock markets have had a disappointing start to the year, we are confident that investment themes such as energy security, water infrastructure and resource efficiency will continue to offer higher than average growth potential even in a difficult market environment.

Semi-Annual Report 2007
Sustainable Performance Group can look back on a very successful first half of 2007. The share price rose 20.9%, outperforming the benchmark MSCI World ex Financials by more than 9%.
With the physical effects of global warming becoming more visible and obvious, investors have switched their attention increasingly to the four key strategic themes focused on by the Sustainable Performance Group: Energy, Water, Healthy Living and Resource Efficiency. This trend is likely to gather momentum in future, as industry and commerce gradually realise that measures must be undertaken to combat progressive climate change. Please find detailed information in the SPG Semi-Annual Report 2007.
